I have a really lovely tutorial for you today courtesy of Nicole from Penny Lane Studio.
Nicole really does produce some amazing designs with paper and today she is here to show us how to create these very pretty paper bows which are the perfect way to dress up a simple favour box.  They are so effective and nice and simple to make.  Have fun creating!

Rockabilly Cherry Paper Bows.

These pretty cherry bows were perfect for the Rockabilly Caravan party which Gillian Brown of Crumbs of Comfort styled for her daughters birthday. I borrowed the template from fabulous crafty blogger Jessica Jones at How About Orange and using our very own Penny Lane Studio printable cherry paper, made a range for the guest favour bags.

You will need.
Scissors
Glue gun (or craft glue and pegs)

Clean pegs

Step 1.
Cut the pieces from the bow template from the How About Orange gift bow template.

Step 2.
Layer each piece on your cherry paper and cut the pieces from the cherry paper. A clean peg will come in handy to hold the pieces in place as you cut.

Step 3.
Taking the longer piece, lay flat on the table so that you are looking at the blank side. Curl back the two ends to the centre and affix with glue. A small peg will help hold the pieces until the glue cures.

Step 4.
Layer your ‘curled’ bow over the medium sized piece so that the two centres are aligned. Take the smallest piece and fold over the centre, using some glue to hold it all together at the back. Again, you might like to use a peg to hold the pieces until the glue cures.

You can use glue or double sided tape to make pretty your favour bags, boxes, gifts or use as embellishments for your dessert table.
