Well my final post for the year and I have some pictures of the Christmas Day Dessert table I put together at home for my family. Sydney turned on the most spectacular weather for the day so we celebrated outdoors while watching the kids swim and play in the backyard.
We had 12 for lunch and even after prawns, turkey, ham and roast vegies there was still room for dessert! I had my first attempt at the Donna Hay Strawberry Macaroon Trifle that features on the cover of the current magazine and I was pleased with how it turned out – it tasted delicious!
Let’s start with Mr A’s Turkey and Ham – so so yummy!

I am now signing off for 2010 – thank you to everyone for your wonderful support this past year. I am so excited about all the new and wonderful things I have planned for 2011. We are off for a family vacation next week so I will be back mid January with lots to share.

Hi Everyone – I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas. I am still trying to catch my breath from an incredibly busy few weeks and can’t quite believe that after all that preparation Christmas has come and gone once more. We had a wonderful day here and Sydney turned on it’s finest weather for a true Aussie Christmas – blue skies for as far as you could see and the perfect temperature so the kids could play in the pool.
Today I have some photos for you of the dessert table for Christmas drinks we held here at our house for Sofia’s pre-school. I also put a cheese and drinks table together. We had a lovely evening – the perfect way to end off the school year.

On the outdoor table I put together two platters of different cheeses and a yummy berry punch
The gorgeous printables I used for this table were from Sarah at Style Me Gorgeous – the perfect combination of pink and red!
As Christmas fast approaches I am here with my final Wednesday Wishlist and there is but only one thing that we all really need – a happy and healthy festive season filled with those we love.

Last week I had the pleasure of creating a candy table at Wendy and Lester’s wedding. This candy table was a surprise gift for the couple from their bridesmaids. Wendy’s wonderful bridesmaids knew how much she wanted a candy table at her wedding but time would not allow her to put it together so they surprised her at her kitchen tea with this lovely and thoughtful gift.
The colour theme was pink and white and I had great fun choosing the correct candy for this table which included personalised lollipops and mini chocolate bars, sugar sticks, milk bottles, marshmallows, candy pigs, rock candy, jelly beans, chunky sour pigs, chocolate hearts, milk chocolate hearts, musk sticks and cool mints. Here are my snaps from the day!
