As I would imagine is the same for most of you life is crazy busy with all the Christmas preparations plus other events I have been working on.  This week I hope to be able to show you some pictures of a lovely wedding candy table I put together last week plus some pictures from a dessert table I put together for our end of year pre-school drinks we hosted in our home last week.
In the meantime here are some pictures of the little gifts we gave out at school and pre-school.  Thank you to Sarah from Style Me Gorgeous for the printables and to Sharnel from Sharnel Dollar Designs for the inspiration for the jars which I put my twist on with lollies, seeing as I am now known as the lolly lady at school!
Gifts for the kids – chocolate marshmallows and jelly beans

Gifts for the teachers and class mums – red fruity lollies – Yum!
Hope your week goes smoothly in the lead up to Christmas.

Today I have for you some photos from a pretty and elegant candy table I put together last weekend for a Christening.
Irene contacted me a few weeks ago to see if I could put together a pink and white candy table for her sweet twin girls Charlotte and Chloe.
Apart from pink and white the other element that we used were butterflies.  A lovely friend made the stunning butterfly pendant for the girls room so it was the perfect item to use above the table.  Butterflies were then used throughout the table to tie it all together.

Pretty little chocolate bars with Charlotte and Chloe’s name
Butterflies in marshmallows amongst the jelly beans and on top of the jars.
Candy Piglets
A sweet butterfly garland which I put together with lovely pink paper and some ribbon.
Chunky Pigs, Marshmallows and mini white jelly beans

Perfect butterflies on top of the cupcakes
Thank you Irene and James for asking me to be part of the girls special day – it was so lovely to meet you and be part of such an exciting occasion.

Last weekend was one of those fabulous and crazy weekends that was just filled with party after party – four in total so I have lots to share over the coming week!  Today I am going to start with a bright and exciting Mad Hatter’s Tea Party that I helped put a table together for.
My friend Lisa decided she wanted to have a tea party for her daughter Emily’s 6th Birthday party so I told her to look at Kim from The Tomkat Studio’s wonderful Alice In Wonderland printable collection.
From the moment she glimpsed at the invitation she knew that this was the theme of the party and so we set to work finding lots of goodies for the table.
A fabulous tea pot cake was at the centre of the table and it was surrounded by lots of yummy brightly coloured treats.  We used tea pots, tea cups, candles and candle sticks as props
Lots of bright lollies including gum balls, lemon sherbets, peach sours, jelly beans and sour straps

My favourite little bottles with paper straws (straws from Love to Celebrate)

The kids table included lovely Sambellina party plates and cups from Love to Celebrate

This was such a fun theme to work with.  Alice and the Queen of Hearts made a special appearance and the girls all had such a wonderful celebration.
Thank you Lisa and Emily for letting me part of your special day!
