With Valentines Day just around the corner what better dessert is there to share with your special someone than decadent Chocolate Mousse and today I have the most amazing “healthy” chocolate mousse to share with you.

It is so easy to change a few ingredients around from the traditional chocolate mousse – pipe the mixture into your glass jar – add your strawberry on top and you have a dessert that looks just like the traditional mousse but it is way better for you!

This  recipe was shared with me by my lovely nutritionalist Simone Kopkas from Health Wholistically. The mousse below was created by Dewi from Sweet Bloom Cakes and photographed by me! Enjoy!

Time for another installation in my Cookbook Crush series and this time I am showing off yet another breakfast!  Interestingly enough I do tend to eat eggs most mornings for breakfast but on special occasions and when I have a little more time, I will whip up some of this delicious Quinoa Porridge from Lola Berry’s 20/20 Diet Cookbook.

The recipe can be found on page 30 of Lola’s book and is called the Quinoa and Blackberry Porridge.  I have made a slight change and switched the blackberries for blueberries and the result is just as amazing!  Let me know if you give it a go!

Hello Everyone!  Hope you are having a lovely Australia Day long weekend.  I have some fun news to report and of course it is all about taking photos!  This week MY list is the list on the Fat Mum Slim Photo A Day Challenge!  Yay.  The first year that Chantelle started Photo a Day I did not miss a day.  Since then I have been a little bit more relaxed and joined for a month here and there.

In 2015 Chantelle has changed things up a bit and is now creating weekly lists so you can join for a week if you like   Of course you can still join for a month or all year!  Such a great challenge to help with your creativity with your camera and photography skills.

So here is my list – you can see how Photo a Day works by visiting Chantelle’s blog Fat Mum Slim – she has so much great stuff to read about that is also not photography related!

On another exciting note if you have always wanted to get hold of Chantelle’s Little Moments App which is the perfect tool for joining the Photo A Day Challenge then you want to take up this offer as it is free TOMORROW.  A little Australia Day gift from Olympus.  Visit here to get the link.

Thanks Chantelle for asking me to take part!!

Some days you just capture them and some days things just don’t go as planned – this day was one of those happy days where the light was lovely, the girls were happy and things clicked!  The balloons, water and warm weather didn’t go astray either!  Happy days with my three and just 5 minutes with my camera

Time for round two of my Photography Workshops which were a great success in October and November of 2014.  If you are a keen photographer, have a new camera or just really want to know how to get the most from your DSLR then this course is for you.   I have two dates available – Friday 22nd February or Sunday 1st March 2015

My course runs for 4 hours and I limit the numbers so there is only a few participants, all able to ask questions and get specific with what they want to know.  We will go over the fundamentals of shooting manual with your camera and have loads of shoot time so you really feel you have grasped how to get the perfect shot.

After a delicious lunch we will look at editing and I will go through the process of bringing your photograph to life for the internet or print.

Visit the workshop page of the website to book your spot – workshops are all held in my home studio in the northern suburbs of Sydney.

Please email if you have any more questions.
