Great excitement with our first Trick or Treat adventure!  Miss Sienna’s two missing front teeth helped make her look more authentic – Sofia on the other hand was a pretty cute witch – such great fun was had by the entire neighbourhood before a thunderstorm soon put a halt to the festivities.  Not to worry plenty of loot was collected along the way!

Last weekend was a busy one for me with two wonderful events to style tables at.  Here are some photos from Saturdays event – a lovely fresh lemon dessert table which was enjoyed by the ladies attending the Working Mums Masterclass Styling, Smiling and Accessorising Workshop in Sydney.
You can find out more about Penny’s upcoming workshops here.
 The desserts consisted of
Lemon Lime Tarts
Pistachio Macaroons
and
Honey and Buttermilk Panna Cotta
We also decided to add two savoury items to the table
Goats Curd and Spring Herb Tarts
and
Chicken Sandwiches
Of course lollies are a must
Mini Jelly Beans
Lemon sherbets
and
Cool Mints
To drink we served a lovely fresh tropical punch and Champagne
Thanks Penny for asking me to be part of this wonderful event and thank you to Rebekah who is the wonderful lady who created all the beautiful desserts for me.

The big talk in our house this week is Halloween – something that I am still getting used to as growing up here in Australia Halloween was never something that we really acknowledged.

Times have changed and Halloween is now another major event on the celebration calendar. Last week while I was visiting the lovely Gaby at my favourite party shop Love To Celebrate she was explaining to me just how huge it is in America and how October has now become such a big month for her now that us Aussies have picked up on a another reason to celebrate.
I couldn’t resist taking a few great shots of her wonderful window and lovely displays to show you all – take a look at all this spookiness!

I couldn’t resist coming away with one of those great pumpkins that lights up!
On Sunday evening we will be heading out with some friends in our wonderful neighbourhood for some trick or treating – the kids are really so excited about their first “real” halloween
So what are you up to – are you celebrating Halloween at your house?

Another big weekend of events for me so today I am all inspired by Lemon which is the theme of Saturdays Dessert Table.  I am putting together a yummy table of treats for the Working Mums Masterclass that I blogged about earlier in the week here.
On Sunday it is event number two – the Stillbirth Foundation Australia’s 5th Birthday Lunch.  At this event I am putting together a candy table which will be loads of fun for the guests.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and I look forward to showing you some pictures next week.
