Spring Blossoms

The Spring Blossoms in Vancouver were magical this year and provided the perfect back drop for Sienna and I to have some fun!  It is always a waiting game to get the correct week when everything blooms as the weather hits the perfect temperature, but when they do it is just so beautiful to drive the streets and find the blooms out in force!  

The beauty of living in this part of the world that experiences 4 distinct seasons is just so incredible and one of the pure delights of living in Canada!

February Snow Storms

February in Vancouver has seen some amazing snow storms – the locals still keep telling us this is unusual but everyone is very excited by the beauty and unexpectedness it creates!  The girls even got to enjoy a snow day when school was cancelled!  Here are some photos from the two snow days we had in the second half of February – beautiful winter wonderland!

Whistler Weekends

We have completed embraced the skiing life while living here in Canada and while I am still very much a basic green run skier (aka the easiest slope you can find!!) we have had the opportunity to visit and ski in Whistler on three different weekends over the winter.  We also were able to catch up with many Aussie visitors during our weekends in the snow which was loads of fun!  

The conditions have been completely different every weekend – from so much snow we didn’t know what to do with it to beautiful blue skies and icy slopes!  No matter what the conditions though being outside in the fresh air getting some exercise is just the best way to spend your days!

Fabulous Fall Colours

I am in complete awe of the Fall colours here in Vancouver!  The joy of living in a country that shows you 4 true seasons has been absolutely amazing and really does give you a true appreciation of mother nature.
