Farewell October! I had fun and I even managed to do two photoaday challenges this month.
The first was the usual fabulous Fat Mum Slim challenge which I am now a full 10 months into and the second was a mini 7 day challenge put together by Megan Morton and Jen from Interiors Addict to celebrate the launch of Megan’s new book!
So here is what I got up to in October.
And challenge number 2
What a big month of photos – as always though lots of fun especially with instagram being the place to share them!
Follow along if you like – you can find me under sweetstyle (of course!)
The Christmas Workshop put together by Penny from Working Mums Masterclass is on again this year and she has asked me to be a presenter!
What is even more exciting is the two lovely ladies I will be presenting with! The incredibly talented stylist Megan Morton and super storage queen Fiona Chandler from Fiona Kate! Still pinching myself that my name is in the same sentance with these lovely ladies!
It will be in an slightly different format where we will be talking about “Our Christmas” – showing you how Christmas comes together for us, including loads of tips and creative ideas.
There will be a lovely afternoon tea on offer and the opportunity to chat and ask questions and compare notes!
Jump on to Penny’s website here for all the details! If sadly you are unable to come along to the masterclass there is also a free webinar on Tuesday 22nd November at 8pm – I will be chatting with Penny about creating a Christmas Dessert Table – again more details are on her website here.
Hope you will be able to attend one of these lovely events.
Time to show off one of the amazing cakes by Anita from Cake Envy in Melbourne.
I seem to be very drawn to cakes at the moment that feature flowers – maybe it is that it is spring here in Australia or maybe it is just that flowers on cakes look so pretty! Anita’s cake that she created for another beautiful table by Avie and Lulu is just stunning! Please be sure to pop by her facebook page here or her website here to see more of her goregous work.
It has been a while since my girls have appeared on the blog so here are a few cute shots I took of them last month while we took a quick weekend break in Port Stephens during the school holidays.
One of their favourite things to do is run and play on the beach – with all the hours I work these days they are constantly saying to me “just play with us mummy” – so I did – camera in hand of course!
