Halloween is just around the corner so I whipped out my little  collection of props to get me inspired.  I was even able to incorporate that fabulous orange and purple tassel garland from Blush Loves Mint that was used for a party earlier this year.

I do love this colour combination together and there are so many great little favours that you can offer to guests at a Halloween Party.

Another lovely Monday Favourite from the incredible talent we have here in Australia

Today I am showing off this beautiful cake from Leonie of Leonie’s Cakes and Parties in Canberra.

Leonie has a wonderful blog which you can find here, that shows off her truly fabulous cakes and parties.  I am just in awe of the wonderful flower work on this cake that she created for her grandmothers 80th Birthday. She has also recently created a pretty incredible superhero cake that can also be seen on her blog.

I am excited to show off another dessert table I put together recently!
This one was for my goregous sister in law Dominique who celebrated her 40th Birthday in September.

A cool black and white cocktail soiree was organised for 100 guests and a delicious array of desserts to finish off the night.

A last minute addition of the Oreo Cookie Cake really made a great centrepiece for the table.
The desserts included delicious mini cheese cakes, oreo cheesecakes in a jar, macaroons, marshmallows and two towers of scrumptious lollies.

We only had one wall in the entire room that could be used for the table so we made the most of the decal that was added last year – not only is it a striking feature that ties in perfectly with the black and white but it also rings true with the rules of my beautiful sister-in-laws life – Laugh a lot, try everything once and with two young boys – don’t play ball in the house!
