Last weekend I had the pleasure of putting together a Dessert Table for the lovely Anna who is pregnant with her first baby. Two years ago Anna was Sienna’s kindy teacher and I put together a candy table for her wedding (you can see it here). Anna was the person who kick started the “Sweet Style” business for me when she asked me to help her with her wedding – it was the first time I had created a candy table for anyone other than my family and it was after her wedding that I decided to give the business a go!
So two years later and Anna and Chris are having a baby! Anna left the theme completely up to me but had given me the hint that they were having a boy and his name would be Benjamin.
With this in the back of my mind I came up with theme of ABC to represent their three names and of course B is for Baby and Boy so it just seemed to fit.
I then enlisted the help of Nicole from Pretty and Print to create the invitation and party printables to tie in with the theme. The colour palette we chose was Blue, Yellow and Chocolate which looked fabulous together.
Sweet treats including a very cute cake, cookies, cake pops and chocolate mousse were made by Jacki from Blissfully Sweet. Additional items on the table were marshmallows, macarons, chocolate frogs, chocolate beans, chewy clouds and caramels.
I hope you enjoy some photos of Anna’s Baby Shower.

This delicious Jelly that Jacki from Blissfully Sweet Cakes created for me for the Tomkat Studio Vintage Surf shoot has had everyone asking questions about how to get those layers!
The trick to making the layers according to Jacki is condensed milk. You do need a bit of time to create them as each layer needs to set before making the next but with four different colour jelly packets and a tin of condensed milk to use between each layer, you can create an amazing looking dessert!
Don’t forget that you are able to join in with the voting on the Tomkat Studio blog for your chance to win a Tomkat Studio store credit to the value of $100 – the competition is also open to Australia residents!
I would love it if you would take a visit and give me your vote! Click here to vote now!
