Very pleased with my capture while crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge last Friday evening – one of those magical summer’s days (that have been a little rare this year) – blue skies, no wind and a perfect sunset.
The city didn’t look so bad either from our dinner table.
I always hate farewelling summer and can’t wait for it to come around again – what is your favourite season?

1. Describe yourself in 7 Words
Helpful, neat, positive, enthusiastic, easy going (although my husband would disagree), loyal and hardworking
2. What keeps you up at night
Sweet Style – The business of a small business run from home means I am usually up until 1 or 2am processing orders from the online store as well as responding to emails, planning my next styling job with the occasional load of washing thrown in!
3. What would you like to be
When I was younger I always wanted to be an actress but I am kind of loving what I am doing now – styling, photographing, business owner, blogger – but I just want to be able to do it in less of a rush and be able to devote enough time to everything. I think I need a few more days in the week for this!
I do secretly think that maybe I would also love to be a photographer – maybe down the track!
4. What are you wearing right now
Thankfully a summer dress – we are having a lovely summer’s day here today after what has not been our best summer on record.
5. What scares you
Currently that my business is consuming me and I am not giving my family or myself enough time out – this work/life/family balance thing is tricky – any tips are welcome!!
6. What are the best and worst things about blogging
The best thing is the sense of community and that fact that you feel ownership of something that is your very own creative space. The worst thing for me now is trying to find the time to blog – I miss blogging and reading blogs like I used to so I am on a mission to get back to it.
7. What was the last website you visited
Facebook – always something to see and look at and post about!
8. What is the one thing you would change about yourself
My need to keep things in order – I am a neat freak and sometime I wish I could just let things be.
9. Slankets – yes or no
Definitely no – who has time to sit around in one of those things anyway!!!
10. Tell us something about the person who tagged you
I have only met Tessa once at a bloggers catch up but we chat regularly on the email – Tessa to me is warm, friendly, enthusiastic and positive – we are having dinner soon so I look forward to getting to know her better x

Squealing with delight over the two lovely features of Sweet Style Products in some fabulous Australian publications – Shop 4 Kids and Australian Home Beautiful.
There is almost a full page of my goodies in the Shop 4 Kids mag and they have done a fantastic job of doing something very different with the glassware.
Thanks to the lovely girls at these magazines that made contact to include them in their recent photo shoots.
My camera has been in overdrive since I found the photography bug about 18 months ago – I have so many photos that I sometimes get confused what I have shared and what I haven’t – keeping them backed up and in a sensible order is a job in itself (would love you to share your online photo filing system in case I am missing a simple solution).
I came across these today while sorting through the library and I realised I have never shared them. They are from a second shoot I did for the My Little Jedi Magazine Launch Issue last year (the one used in the magazine can be found here). Hope you like them – sweet and simple and would be perfect for a little bridal shower.
