Today I wanted to share with you some photo’s of the afternoon tea I put together for my own birthday last week – of course I had to use my milk cake stands and a few other lovely products from the shop.
A lovely afternoon in the backyard with the gorgeous ruffle cake that Jacki from Blissfully Sweet Cakes made for me, followed by macaroons, meringues and cookie pops.

You can get the instructions for the meringues here and the cookie pops here.
Don’t forget I will be stocking all these gorgeous cake stands and bowls in my online store which I will be launching any day now – further information can be found here.

Hip Hooray – it is my birthday!
What a lovely few days – a Royal Wedding followed by my birthday!
What better way to celebrate than with my very own ruffle cake
Hope you all enjoyed watching William and Kate on their magical day.
I thought everything looked spectacular – I was totally in awe.
Stunning dresses by both the bride and bridesmaids and what a beautiful couple they make.
Wishing you all  a wonderful weekend – hopefully it is filled with a few ruffles!.
I am joining in with Lou from Sunny and Scout for Point and Shoot – come and see what everyone else has been up to!

Our second week of school holidays were wonderful – loads of sunshine and a trip to Sydney’s iconic Luna Park.  I know I have said it before but we are so blessed to live in truly such a spectacular city.
There is no better way than being in the moment than a ride on the ferris wheel or speeding on the dodgem cars – I hope you enjoy some pictures of Luna Park with the beautiful backdrop of the Sydney Harbour on a crystal clear autumn day.

I have decided to join a few link parties so come and visit

We had a wonderful celebration with Mr A’s family on Sunday – what is better than Nonna’s home cooked food followed by delicious coffee and desserts.
I put together a simple dessert table and made white tim tam cookie pops and fluffy meringues.  Mr A’s lovely aunt sent over a huge and delicious tiramisu and my sister-in-law added her chocolate and custard tart – the perfect ending to a wonderful Easter Day.

Individual bags for the kids for easter egg hunting!

A vintage looking table with hyacinth, easter daisies and carnations.
I used little bottles, cake stands and domes on my table and made some simple little place setting tags which I wrapped with ribbon

The table with the addition of the tiramisu and custard tart.

Today we are enjoying an extra long weekend here in Australia – with easter being so late this year Easter Monday coincided with Anzac Day – so instead of enjoying Easter Monday on Monday we have commemorated Anzac Day on Monday and moved Easter Monday to Tuesday – more time for polishing off all those eggs!
