We have started school holidays here and the weather has turned on some holiday charm – a warm week ahead for Sydney which is so welcome when the kids are home and we can enjoy pool time!

Today in my Monday favourite we are meeting Anastasia from the House of Royal Velvet in Western Australia.  I love Anastasia’s clean and beautiful lines – her cakes really are stunning.

Anastasia started cake decorating as a hobby in 2008 but found it very time consuming so only had time to make cakes on and off for some time.

In August 2009 she did decide however to turn her hobby into a business and four years later she still loves it.
