Last Friday I had the pleasure of attending Kara’s Party Idea’s Workshop and Confetti Fair while they were on the Sydney leg of their Australian Tour.   I was there representing Sweet Magazine as the new Style Editor and my main gig for the day was to do an interview with Kara, Sarah and Claire which will be revealed in edition two of the magazine.

I also had a great day photographing all that was happening including Kara & Sarah presenting and the wonderful stalls  that were on display for Confetti Fair.  Here are a selection from the day which include my favourite vendors. I look forward to sharing more about some great new products I discovered over the coming weeks.

The Feather installation at the entry to the Byron Kennedy Hall was amazing! Many hours of colouring and hanging feathers but it was well worth the amazing look that Claire and her Confetti Fairies achieved.Kara & Sarah (Sugar Coated Mama)One of Kara’s gorgeous displayDalia and her team at Tiny Tots Toy Hire always have so many wonderful props and their display showed how to create the perfect Alison in Wonderland party.  I have used Dalia in the past for my party hire needs and she always give amazing service.A pretty set up by Colour My PartyStunning Cakes by Caking It UpSome beautiful Cake Toppers by Grain & CoI really loved the simple clean set up by Sweets For Me – they even used mini glass pots from the Sweet Style Online storePretty Tassels at the Vignette Design standBright and fun display by Rainy SundayAnother gorgeous set up by Michelle from Little Wish Parties – I always love Michelle’s stunning mini tables, cloths and chairs which I used at a few of my parties last year.

There are so many more wonderful vendors that I have not shared here but I will do so over the coming weeks.

  1. This is just so good and well planned. I too love to party and plan their theme. Theme is very necessary feature which one should keep in mind.
