Today I sat and watched my 4 year old sing at the Mothers Day Morning Tea at her pre-school and I became very emotional and teary – I could not stop thinking about our first born Laura who I will never get to sing to me or wish me happy mothers day – I do miss her desperately on occasions like this.
So to all the mums out there, if you blessed to have your children with you or if they are missing from your day to day lives I send you special wishes for mothers day.  May your day be filled with love.

Celebrating Laura’s 6th Birthday in March

Mothers Day is not far away – unfortunately however my husband has taken off to the US for work for the week – hopefully he will check my blog and see what is on my wish list.

You can’t go past anything from Jo Malone

A beautiful Jo Malone Candle would be lovely – Vintage Gardenia is my favourite

Ahh a handbag – a soft leather bag – this one is high on my wish list from Oroton

I am an avid scrapbooker – a hobby I discovered about two and a half years ago.  It is one of those things that your either get or you don’t.  I have found it to be a fantastic way to show off my lovely family and my past travels in a unique way instead of just putting the pictures in an album or worse yet just leaving them on the computer.  Here are a couple of my recent layouts.  A one page title layout of my little Sofia on her 3rd birthday – this will go at the front of her book and a two page layout for the family album.  Now all I have to do is work out how to take better photos of the layouts so they look better than these photos are showing!
