Happy Friday to everyone.  I hope you have had a great week.  We have had all things Mothers Day on our mind here this week.  Not only has the blog been full of mothers day inspiration but my girls are really excited about their purchases at the mothers day stall at school yesterday.  I have strict instructions not to look in various places around the house! They have given a few hints away about what they purchased but it will be so lovely to see what caught their eye while shopping!

I also had a bit of time to play around with some very pretty new cake stands and delicious macarons after I became a little obsessed with working out the best way to style your macs.  This all came about after my visit to Confetti Fair last weekend in Sydney combined with a delivery of new Rosanna Cake Stands.

One of the many things I noticed while at the fair was everyone’s take on showing off a Mac.  Do you have a favourite way of displaying your macarons or do you like to play around with them each and every time you have them on a dessert table?

Well here are a few different ways I came up with – I must say they all do look so pretty here on the new Rosanna Cake stands and bowls – the details on these items are simply beautiful – and they look just fantastic when the perfect coloured macaron is placed on top. Special thanks also to Dewi from Sweet Bloom Cakes who at 4pm on Sunday as the fair ended piled my bags high with her gorgeous macarons – I am also feeling slightly heavier as I just couldn’t let them go to waste!

So do you like them lying flat or maybe standing on their side.  Spaced out on a platter or piled high?
