Way back in August last year we celebrated Sienna’s 8th Birthday with a fun, easy and intimate Movie Party for 3 of her closest friends and sisters (of course!)

In keeping with my theme of small parties but still having all those fun and detailed elements I love so much I put together a tiny dessert table with a gorgeous cake by Jacki from Blissfully Sweet as well as popcorn, soda and the all important treat bags.

For this party we actually headed out to the local movie cinema to watch the latest kids movie – you can see the photos below of the girls having a lovely time just walking to and from the cinema (I am sure the locals wondered why some crazy mother was taking photos of her kids in a shopping centre!).  Each of the girls where given a movie pass/invite to wear around their neck at the beginning of the party and we took popcorn and drinks with us to eat during the show.

We then came home to celebrate further with pizza, popcorn, cake and drinks.
Nicole from Pretty and Print made the most wonderful set of printables for the occasion – it included the invite and movie pass, popcorn box wrappers, drinks wrappers, thank you tags and the fantastic Now Showing poster that certainly made Sienna look quite the movie star – such a lovely feature as it now lives on her wall in her bedroom so she can remember the day.
