9th Birthday Celebrations & A Cute Balloon

We had a birthday in the house last week and with thanks to Emily from Emiko Blue we were able to celebrate with the prettiest of party bags and one very cute balloon.

Sofia turned 9 and asked to take her friends to Skyzone trampoline park here in Sydney.  In my usual attempts to make things a little prettier and girlier we stayed away from the traditional trampoline colours and were thrilled when Emily delivered to us the pretty pink and gold spot party bags and an Eat Cake balloon.

Liv from Jack + Hunter create a cake using the trampoline theme but in the pink, black and gold colours!  So perfect to add a bit more glamour to the party.

Daisy’s First Holy Communion

Simple, elegant and special events are the best aren’t they!  Today I have some images from the perfect Holy Communion created by my lovely friend Gillian from Crumbs of Comfort Cake Design for her beautiful daughter Daisy.

Daisy celebrated her First Holy Communion with a gorgeous celebration that featured glitter, gold, cream and peach.  I love that Daisy’s hair accessory is a piece that Gillian snipped off the bottom of her wedding veil and had made – so special.

Four Things :: Cake Toppers

One of the lovely trends around at the moment is the use of beautiful cake toppers.

I was able to work with some very pretty ones on a recent shoot and they really are the perfect addition to a simple cake.  Here are four of my favourite toppers – number two even lights up which is so cool!

We are off to a wedding this weekend – I can’t wait to see what they chose for their cake and if it includes a topper!
