I do tend to feature a lot of round cakes but today I have a simply stunning square cake to show you all!

This beauty, made by the clever Debbi from Studio Cake in Melbourne, is one of my favourite square cakes.

I love the simplicity and the magnificent David Austin Rose sitting perfectly on top.  It is also lovely to see the Bon Bon Square cake stand on this table – it was the first cake stand I purchased when I started styling dessert tables and it is Debbi’s favourite also.

Has anyone else received the latest edition of Home Beautiful Australia?  I just received mine and of course I am not disappointed – it is my favourite of all the magazines.  I love how it shows off real Aussie homes.

The other really exciting part is that there are some great Sweet Style items featured in the Boxing Day Brunch entertaining section on pages 56 and 57!

The lovely John Mangila has done another fabulous job with this shoot (you can also read his great blog all about the flower shops and florists of Sydney here).

There are those fantastic stamps again making an appearance! Love it!

The Drinks Dispensers shown are the Mason and the Blairgowrie (stocks are getting low of both but more will be arriving the last week of November). Start thinking Christmas people as these guys are the perfect gift! Only 6 and half weeks to go!

I still get excited every time I see someone use one of the little stamps I sell in my online store.

When customers send me photos of their party table and there is that spoon in the jelly or tied to the pot with the name stamped lovingly for everyone to see, I always have a smile, but those stamps do come in handy for lots of other things as well.

I have been getting great use out of one stamp in particular lately and that is the Happy Birthday stamp.

My girls have a constant stream of parties to attend and to be able to pull out that stamp, add it to a simple tag before attaching it to the present really makes life so simple (and it looks great too)

Enjoy seems to work perfectly when giving a hostess gift at a dinner party, as does yum! and thank you.

A bottle of wine or olive oil, a bunch of flowers or even some chocolates look so much nicer with a sweet tag attached.

I am truly dazzled by this weeks gorgeous cake from the talented Patricia from Yummy Cupcakes and Cakes

When I asked Patricia if I could feature one of her creations here on the blog she new instantly which one was one of her favourites.  This cake was created recently for Cosmo Bride Magazine and Patricia loves every single element of it as no doubt will all of you.

The grooved stripes, the sleek silver finish, the stylised gardenias – this cake would be perfect for the modern and chic wedding couple.
