I have had a serious cookbook crush lately and can’t get enough of finding and creating new recipes.  Two of my absolute favourites at the moment are Pete Evans Family Food and Healthy Every Day.  I use these two books at least 3-4 times a week when preparing a meal.

These almond and berry pancakes were a treat for breakfast and are made with such nutritious ingredients like almond meal, cinnamon and coconut flour.  Team it with your favourite almond milk berry smoothie and you will not need anything else until dinner.  You can find them in the Healthy Every Day Cookbook on page 17.

Last year I took on the challenge of taking a photo of my three girls together every week.  I am happy to report that I succeeded with this challenge and have 52 shots of my beauties ready to print out in a photo book.  Here is a look at the last shot and the first shot for 2014 – it is great to see how they have grown and changed over the year.   This end of year photo has now become a bit of a tradition so here is a look a the past four years all taken in the same spot on our back patio.
