Today’s Monday Favourite feature is with someone whose style is unmistakable. The type of person whose cakes you know instantly no matter where you see a photo of it.
I have been a long time admirer of Naomi’s beautiful work and have also been fortunate enough to have had her provide cakes at a number of parties I have worked on – her work is always flawless and tastes amazing.
Naomi began decorating cakes as a hobby and starting posting the photos of them to her flikr page about 6 years ago.
Her business, Hello Naomi which is based in Newcastle, NSW started a few years later, in 2009. Naomi tell me that the most popular flavour of cake depends on her favourite at the time as most of her clients ask her to recommend one. Belgian white chocolate and vanilla bean mud with dark chocolate ganache are currently very popular (and I can also vouch for her lemon merringue tarts) – so super delicious.
