Dad, it is 7 years ago today that you lost your battle with bowel cancer
You are never far from our thoughts and we know you really are walking beside us in everything that we do.
When our friend the magpie lands on the front lawn we know you are here watching us, loving us and supporting us.
We smile when we think of your kindness but oh we do miss you terribly.

I love this picture too! My dad passed away from cancer also. It’s been 10 years now, but I still often find myself thinking, “I wish dad could see this or know that.” Hopefully they do.
