Don’t you love trying to capture a family shot.
We needed an update so a few weeks I go I set about to get a shot of us all together.
I got the tripod out and set the camera to timer….
Somehow I managed to capture one of all of us looking at the camera and smiling ….
But let me tell you the 20 minutes leading up to this shot were not so great! The obligatory not co-operating for the camera, the compulsory showing off, followed by the tears by at least one member of the family (other than me)! A family photo session is always such fun isn’t it … so pleased I can look back and see how cute all the photo’s are after the event!
Thank heavens for that final shot I decided to take!
Sale Alert: Quick note to also let you know that this week is glass jar sale week in the store. I have reduced a huge selection of jars to clear out some that are discontinued and make way for some new ones.
Check it out here.
You did an amazing job with these! Good for you and it seems the trauma was well worth it! x
Aww beautiful photos Leanne. How fun!

I think that you have a few cute shots in there, but yes, that last one is perfection.
I can totally relate as I have three little ones as well. It’s near impossible to get everyone looking great at once. Believe me I’ve tried. I even spent thousands of dollars on professional photos and there is only one photo that was half decent. Not bagging out the photographer at all, the photos were exquisite, but only one where everyone was looking to camera with a normal face.
Just delightful Leanne! What is it about photo shoots & the middle child….had exactly the same issue!

You family is adorable Leanne! The girls are soooo pretty and it looks like a lot o fun! I must try that with my lot! 🙂
But I think I need to get a timer first! Any suggestions?
