I am back today to share with you lots of images from some recent shoot I put together for Fete Press Magazine all about my Christmas table.

It has been fun putting together this years Christmas for my family and seeing as I had to prepare for this shoot back in October it has been on my mind for some time!   I also was able to share these ideas at the recent Working Mums Masterclass Presentation where I spoke about My Christmas.

You will know from my inspiration board a few weeks ago that I am using gold and pink this year.  Pink always seems to creep into my decorating somewhere and Christmas is no exception.  I am not one for the traditional green and red Christmas so I generally have pink with another colour.

I have used a natural coloured cloth here with my traditional white crockery and then added my colour in the decorations.  The fabulous pom pom and bunting decorations are by Samantha from Dunne with Style.

The decorations look wonderful on the tree, on top of your cake or attached to the wall. I have also used the pom poms as a feature on my cutlery.

The pretty pink hobnail cups were also a great way to bring my colour in on this table. With my sweet tooth a cake and some other desserts are always going to take centre stage on my table and this stunning cake was made by Dewi from Sweet Bloom Cakes – a delicious three tier Neapolitan cake that tasted as good as it looked!

Flowers are such a beautiful touch on any table – the arrangements were made by Rebecca from Petal and Pod who always does such stunning work.  I do like flowers in white vessels so that you don’t see the water and the footed bowls I have used here are perfect for this sort of thing.I wanted something different to add to the place settings so I used these great reindeer and star tags as decoration and added a fluro pink luggage tag to add my guests names.  The Reindeer and Star tags also can be written on so they work well for place settings as well.  They also can double as a great take home gift for your guests.

I hope you have enjoyed a sneak peak at what will be happening at our house for Christmas this year.

A perfectly delicious looking Monday Favourite from Jacki at Blissfully Sweet Cakes

Doesn’t her Gingerbread House look simply perfect!  I can see myself sitting by a fire inside that front door.  I have never made an attempt at a ginerbread house but may just have to give it a go with the kids this year.

To see more of this yummy house made by Jacki visit her facebook gallery here.

Hope your Christmas plans are coming along nicely – only 15 days to go!

I have a lovely Christmas Themed Table today, which includes some cute styling ideas and a very special offer on the printables, courtesy of the lovely girls at Anders Ruff.  The minute the colour pink is introduced I am immediately attracted to it!   Read on below to find out more!

Here are the party details:
We love to show fresh color schemes for our favorite holidays.  Christmas doesn’t have to always be red and green, so we introduced our vintage holiday collection which incorporates gorgeous hues of pink, aqua, lime and red.

One of the main accessories that we used throughout the designing process and to accessorize with were Shiny Brite ornaments (new & antique Christmas ornaments). We put them in tall glass topiaries and also hung them from an old-fashioned white feather tree. These types of ornaments are what inspired our entire design collection!

We used several small aqua and cream feather trees for our dining table, as well as Mercury glass topiaries and German glass glittered accents throughout (such as the dessert table wreath, and gift packages).

We wanted to showcase our candy canes in surprising ways, so we put them in antique candle holders as well as hung them from a white wooden wine rack.

On the table you will notice true antique silver glittery linens, mixed in with our modern day china. The feather trees and topiaries are displayed on an old white cabinet door to give various heights and interest.

Everyday white serving platters were used for dessert displays (Food labels in the DIY package used to designate each food item). We also lined the buffet table with wrapping paper and hung customized (to match this collection) Christmas stockings (by Chicmommybags)

We lined the serving platters with chocolate coated sunflower seeds and craft Itsy beads to add color and contrast

We purchased grosgrain fabric in a pink/red/green/blue striped pattern (placed it on the bias on an oversized artist canvas) to add a bold statement to the dessert table backdrop.

We dressed up our dining chairs by adding pink satin ribbons with our garland snowflake logo.

We showed unique packaging/decorating methods for favor boxes, wine bottles, soda pop bottles and personalized them with printed favor tags, hangtags and party logos.

As a special offer Anders Ruff are offering Sweet Style Readers a special discount on these printables for the fabulous price of $!0.00

Finally after months of planning and photographing and emailing and organising we are ready to relaunch the website.

We were hit by a few small bumps along the way but we have made it.

The new Sweet Style website is ready to go with a new layout that will make your shopping so much easier!

I must thank my wonderful friends at Eskimo Design for their constant support and design expertise and Nancy from Oranges and Lime who came to the rescue in the last few weeks to make it all happen!

To celebrate we are going to have a sale – perfect timing for your Christmas shopping.

Don’t forget to enter the code MERRY in the coupon box to receive the discount of your products! Please remember to also allow a little extra time for shipping of products during this very busy time.

Go to www.sweetstyle.com.au to shop!

As an extra incentive to help spread the word I am going to give a $50 store credit to one lucky person who shares the sale on their Facebook Page!

The lovely Annabelle and Jane from Fete Press Magazine asked me to put together a story for their simply beautiful Christmas Holiday Online issue that has been released today.

Christmas is my favourite time of the year and while I am traditional with some things I very rarely use red and green in my own personal decorating but pink has become my signature colour.

Here is a small sample of how Christmas will look at my house this year as seen in the pages of Fete Press.  I will be back  later in the week and show a few some more from my table as well as a few other things that I talked about in last weekends Working Mums Masterclass all about “My Christmas”.

A very special thank you to two lovely ladies who provided their gorgeous products for this setting – Samantha from Dunne with Style and Dewi from Sweet Bloom Cakes. Lovely flowers by Rebecca from Petal and Pod – more info about other pretty products to come!
