Finally remembered to take some photos late this afternoon as the sun was going down so here is a few shots of our bedroom.

We have a fantastic new king size bed which I love.

We love our beautiful red rose painting which hangs above us. A friend painted it for us a few years ago and it looks perfect in our bedroom.

We have a pretty wonderful view from our bedroom balcony (yes that is the ocean in the far distance).

And I love my new curtains which make the room feel very glamorous.

I love my new bedroom – the only problem is that I seem to be going to bed so late and getting up very early so I am not spending nearly enough time in it.

Well the end of our second week back in “the cove” and we are loving it. Still can’t quite believe we are back here and it is all ours and we actually get to sleep here and eat here and have our stuff here.
There are still lots of little things happening each day which has made for another busy week of tradesmen coming and going. Little things to fix here, shutters to install, fences to go in, pictures on walls. Tomorrow if the rain stays away they plan to finish the pool so more tradesman on our doorstep at 7am. Sadly not one tradesman that has entered our house has looked like our friend above – we are not done yet however so there is still hope …
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and a cute tradesman enters your life.

I am in love with all the beautiful childrens wear from Fred Bare – yes it is pricey but for that special occasion it is just beautiful. I have my eye on a lovely white dress for Sienna – she has requested that she also wears a lovely white dress like Indiana to Indi’s Christening. Here are a few pictures from their current summer range.

Yes the picture below is of our lovely toilet in the powder room! Funny first photo to be showing you of our new house but these toilets are proving to be very exciting. To everyones delight they are soft close toilets which means no slamming of the toilet seat or lid – just a gentle push and they glide down slowly and peacefully. When we have a new visitor to the house the first thing the girls say is come and look at our magic toilets … it is the small things that amuse us the most. I promise to post some more exciting pictures of the house soon – just keep forgetting to get the camera out in the daylight.
