I have always had a love of armoires – my mother has a beautiful one in her home but my house has never suited the style, my husband is not particularly into the look and I have never really had the place for it!!  I am hoping he will change his mind for our new home as I would love one similar to these.  Our new home is very contemporary but I think a lovely armoire in the bedroom for all my girly things would be lovely.

As the weather here in Sydney is starting to get a little cooler I am looking for some comfy maternity wear – I am currently 30 weeks pregnant so at that uncomfortable stage.
I found these great clothes in a shop called Baybeecino – a lovely hooded Kaftan and matching terry pants – the only problem is which colour to choose!!

We have been scouring the suburbs looking at feature walls for the exterior of our house – the options are varied and so many look wonderful.  We have narrowed it down to two different options – the stack stone option or the sandstone wall option.  We do have a few walls to do so we are thinking of doing one wall one way and another wall another.  The photos above are of a couple of lovely feature walls on houses in Mosman, Sydney.

On the weekend we took the kids on a trip to the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, about 1.5 hours west of Sydney.  The main reason for our little weekend getaway was to visit the Zig Zag Railway’s Thomas and Friends Special that they hold a few weekends of the year.

The kids were so excited to be going for a train ride on Thomas and to see his friends.

Once at the bottom of the zig zag railway they had lots of activites and rides for the kids.  We got to spend an hour playing and enjoying seeing the kids so excited before Thomas delivered us back to Clarence Station at the top of the Zig Zag Railway.
They had the most amazing face painting – here is my little Sofia with her beautiful butterfly painted on her face – she looked adorable.
It was well worth the visit as we had a lovely weekend away with great entertainment for the kids.
